Description : It’s amazing how a little prize can motivate in such a big way.  Our monthly prize store is a fun way to encourage participation in all we have going on at Kidworks.  Just like any redemption store at a kids/family entertainment center (Odessy, Chucky Chesse), kids can earn points by doing various things at Kidworks and at home.  They can redeem those points for fun prizes at the store.  Don’t you wish church was this fun when you were a kid?

Responsibilities and Additional Thoughts:
Set-up the prize store once a month.  The prize store will be available the last weekend of every month.
Help kids pick out prizes.

Description : If you like to have fun with kids, worship, and help kids discover how great a life with Jesus is, then our large group environments are a great place to get involved.  You will join a team of people that are passionate about helping kids discover who Jesus is in a exciting atmosphere.

Play with kids during pre-session times to develop relationship with them.
Help maintain an orderly and worshipful atmosphere.
Assist large group teacher with activities, games, and teaching elements.

Description : We take the safety and security of our kids very seriously.  We want to ensure that while the kids are in our care there is no distractions for danger, or worry.  And this goes for the parents peace-of-mind as well.  One key way we do this is to make sure the children are picked up only by the adult who is authorized.  If safety and security is important to you, then this is the place for you.

Receives check-out claim tickets from adults to ensure children are going home with the correct adult; o   Match the unique code on the claim ticket with the child’s name tag; Warmly says good-bye to families and welcomes them back next week.

Description : Your smile and welcoming attitude can help a guest feel comfortable on their first time to church. Life Center is a church for all people, and we want everyone to feel welcomed when they come.

Greets families and assists them to check-in; Help new families get registered and get them familiar with the environment ; o   Explain to the children and adults what happens during the kids classes; o   Help the kids get comfortable with the surroundings, helping them meet other children their age and get introduced to the surroundings of their class.

Description : If you like working directly with kids, but don’t feel like you know just how to lead a group of them, then this is a great place to get involved.  You can build relationships with the kids, and serve the small group leader to facilitate discussion or play games and activities.  It’s really all the fun, without all the heavy responsibility.

Responsibilities and Additional Thoughts:

Welcomes children during check-in and use the time to develop relationship with them.
Serves the Group Leader in anything needed to help keep the group running smoothly.
Assist the small group leader in facilitating discussion and group activities; Escorts kids to and from small group time, making sure they are safe and supervised;
Connect with kids on a personal level.

Description : Do you remember that one person who you looked up to when you were younger?  As a small group leader you can become a friend and mentor to a small group of kids that will think you are the coolest person in the world.

Connect with kids on a personal level.  Connection comes first, then teaching. Escorts kids to and from small group time, making sure they are safe and supervised; Plays  and connects with kids during pre-session and post-session times; Lead kids in activities and discussion based on the lesson (curriculum is provided); o   What we want the kids to learn will be better caught from your life, than taught from your lesson;
